The central objective of the SAC ("Symbolic and Algebraic Computation") Network
is to create a platform on which the various activities of Symbolic and Algebraic Computation
in Europe can be successfully integrated.
It is a scientific and technical cooperation network of the HCM
("Human Capital and Mobility Program") of the Commission of the European Communities
involving height academic participants. It is a 3-years project that officially started
january 1, 1995.
The documents that follow describing the objectives of the SAC project and the role
of the participants are parts of the final proposal.
