Future actions

• During the next few months, the SAC partners will continue to support various collaborations between the teams, attendance at meetings and workshops, and training of young researchers.

• SCAFI seminars (Seminars in Computer Algebra for Industry) will be organized in Nice in the Fall 1997 in order to enhance collaborations between the researchers and the users of computer algebra software in industry.

• Courses about the Java language for mathematical use, directed at developing interactive sample notes of mathematical applications will be organized in the Fall 1997, and interfacing with computer algebra systems will be emphasized.
