The European SAC Network

Integration of activities and collaborations

The partners of the network have installed the framework giving the means to integrate the different activities related to Symbolic and Algebraic Computation both at the national and at European levels.
SAC has allowed researchers to attend various meetings, workshops and conferences in Europe and the young researchers to promote their training. The enhancement of the collaborations between the teams at the working level has led to joint research and joint publications.
During the first two years (1995 - 1996), the SAC network has supported

• The salaries and fellowships of 11 researchers.

• 30 researchers seconded from one team of the network to another team.

• 56 missions and visits.

The joint research between the teams has already led to 28 joint publications.
