Abstract. CalICo is a software for the manipulation of discrete objects. We propose to use it for animating computer science or mathematical books on network. Here, we briefly describe the software and show how the connections can be done to a WWW server. The quality of the solution is the transparency for the books author in regard of the network and the Xwindow graphical primitives.
